The restaurant Augubio Congo is located on the ground floor, only a few steps away from the Peristyle of the palace Augubio. In addition to an an attractively furnished interior, it has a charming interior courtyard. The ancient building is dominated by stone, and the pleasant atmosphere is created by the use of warm colours and materials in the decoration. The young chef, Željan Radosavljević, has put squash, pork tenderloin, and gourmet hamburger meat on the menu, alongside the Mediterranean specialties. He added shrimps to the creamy risotto with smoked mussels and, in doing so, achieved a wonderful harmony of flavours. The marinated pork tenderloin with caramelised onions, rustic potatoes, and Merlot-flavoured salt is an excellent dish suited for the autumn and winter season. The wine list contains select wines from most Croatian wine regions, but the offer of wines that can be ordered by the glass could be somewhat larger.
