In addition to the good food, lunch or dinner on the terrace of Brasserie Adriatic will give you some additional pleasures. The first one is the most beautiful view in Rovinj - on the magical harbor with colorful boats and on the opposite waterfront with typical Istrian pastel painted houses. The second is the opportunity to follow everything that happens in the central square of Rovinj, as if watching a film with many different characters. If you prefer to dine inside, you will enjoy a sophisticated ambience with a multitude of pieces of art and a view on the open kitchen. On the ground floor of the eponymous 100-year-old hotel, at the corner of a nicely renovated stone house, the elegant Brasserie Adriatic prepares the food in the spirit of French cuisine. However the menu is dominated by local seasonal ingredients and traditional Istrian specialties prepared in an innovative way. We started the dinner with a delicious Adriatic appetizer, fresh raw sea bass carpaccio, raw cuttlefish carpaccio and sardines in savor (fried and marinated), and we also ordered an excellent Adriatic tuna tartare, with pea cream and a few drops of beetroot emulsion. We continued with Rovinj’s bouillabaisse - a precisely seasoned, silky, thick fish soup, like a bisque, with a few pieces of fish, shrimps and shellfish, served with toast. We also tasted a juicy steak with vegetables that was well grilled on the outside and soft inside. The dessert was very attractivet – a delicious crème brûlée, with a fine texture and golden caramelized sugar on top. The wine list is well designed, with leading Istrian and international labels. If you want to have a good dinner in an elegant atmosphere, in the center of Rovinj’s hustle and bustle, then Brasserie Adriatic is the right place for you.
