Cap Aureo, within the Grand Hotel Park in Rovinj, is one of the most famous restaurants of high gastronomy in Istria. In an attractive ambience, with a breathtaking view of Rovinj, you will enjoy a unique culinary experience. The kitchen is run by the famous chef Jeffrey Vella, who is surrounded by an excellent team of young professionals, all in perfect coordination with the service. His signature dishes, imaginative and technically precisely prepared, will win over the most demanding gourmets. Although it is not a vegetarian restaurant, the tasting menu - which can reach up to 20 courses - is dominated by vegetables in all possible varieties and shapes. Chef Vella will always surprise you with his creativity and the fullness of tastes in his dishes. Recently he presented a new carte, but unfortunately, due to the lockdown, we were not able to visit Cap Aureo. We will keep the score by Gault & Millau Croatia 2020, convinced that the restaurant has maintained its top quality.
