We still consider tavern Didova kuća to be a unique restaurant on the island of Pag, which justifies the rating of 12/20 and one Gault & Millau toque. Since last year, we have not noticed any major changes in the decoration of the tavern. A charming and colorful space that exudes warmth and a unique decorations that greets the guests and brings a smile to their faces. We recommend that you book a table on the terrace and enjoy the view of Šimune and the bay. The menu still presents the best of the island of Pag: the unavoidable cheeses of MIH and Gligora producers, dried figs, almonds, fragrant island herbs, lamb and fresh fish. We tasted “šufigana janjetina”, sautéedlamb chops with potatoes. The portion was large enough, the meat and potatoes were soft but the herbs and pepper prevailed over the taste of the lamb. The squid with potatoes was tasty and soft, but once again too much pepper. Desserts delight us again and again every year, we recommend trying the lemon cake with whipped cream Klara and Tom or the Sweet Pastry of our childhood, a calorie bomb made of poppies, carob and walnuts. The wine list has about 40 Croatian wines, only some of which are served by the glass. The staff is very nice and we recommend that you book a table a few days in advance, especially if you want to enjoy the sunset from the terrace. If you are visiting the island of Pag, let Didova kuća be on your list of restaurants worth visiting!
