Restaurant Pantarul on Lapad is a favourite place for Dubrovnik locals to go out all year round, because the owner’s motto is - feels like home. Creative and cordial hosts are creating the menu that follows the season, and all the traditional but very modern dishes are prepared using the products of local farmers. During each visit to Pantarul, you come across new chef surprises and always smiling waiters expertly recommend local wines that go best with selected dishes and remember the habits and tastes of their regular guests. Therefore, whatever you order, you will not go wrong. We tasted vegetarian spring rolls stuffed with lentils and fresh vegetables, and beef tagliata with Grana Padano and homemade red bell pepper jam. For the main course we tasted creamy vegetable risotto with dried tomatoes, mascarpone and parmesan cheese, and also the poached sea bream with julienne vegetables with citrus and olive oil sauce reduction. Simply, it melted in the mouth. Gluten - free white chocolate and almond cake with vanilla cream was a perfect dessert for the end of the late lunch. Additional pleasure was provided by the wines of local winemakers and for the memory of this charming place in Pantarul we bought their cook book.
