Oil mill OLEA VIOLA is a multi-varietal extra virgin olive oil obtained by blending the indigenous Dalmatian variety Oblica and the introduced variety Leccino. The oil is golden green in colour, with medium intensity fruitiness. The aroma is dominated by the pleasant scent of green almonds and olive leaves, while the taste is characterized by a mild bitterness and medium intensity spiciness complemented by the aromas of green almonds and Mediterranean herbs. Olea Viola oil goes excellently with black cuttlefish risotto, the buzara of vongole and white chocolate cake. The family farm, OPG Čelini from Pakoštane, cultivates olive groves in several locations along Lake Vrana and in the narrow inland area of Modrava. Oblica is the predominant variety, but there are also Levantinka, Leccino, Pendolino, Plavica and Frantoio. The continuity of the quality of their olive oils is proven by the numerous awards that they got at domestic and foreign competitions.
