The menu at Stari Kotač 2 is short and clear, just as it should be in a restaurant of this type. On one side are the grilled dishes, on the other the salads and side dishes, and the rest is the list of drinks. The menu includes classic ćevapčići (small rolled patties of mince meat), ćevapčići stuffed with cheese, shish kebabs, burgers, cutlets, skewers, sausages and a few other tried-and-true favourites. Prices range from 9 to 13 euros for portions, while some dishes can also be ordered by the piece – for example, ćevapčići, cutlet or skewer. There are also more expensive cuts of meat – rump steak stuffed with cheese, steak stuffed with cheese and prosciutto, and the most expensive item on the menu is the Irish Angus rump steak with fries. With each dish, you can choose a side dish of your choice - French fries or potato wedges, ajvar (a spread made of baked peppers and eggplants), kajmak (cluttered cream), ketchup, “hot wheel” spread. They can offer only one dessert - a fresh and not too sweet cream pie. The waiters are friendly, fast and unobtrusive, and there are enough of them to ensure that the service in the two indoor and one outdoor rooms and on the two terraces (courtyard and street) functions without interruption. Stari Kotač 2 is an upgrade of the first version of this restaurant in the peripheral Prečko neighbourhood. This one in the city centre is so popular that you can’t get a table without a prior reservation.
