Tea shop In Špišić Bukovica, a unique educational and presentation center is dedicated to chamomile and medicinal herbs. Chamomile which thrives in the Virovitica - Podravina County and is widely recognized for its high-quality, much of which is exported across Europe. Visitors can stroll along an educational trail connecting small greenhouses filled with aromatic plants, explore a museum and herbarium, and relax in themed tasting rooms that combine soothing music, fragrant herbs, and tea tastings. The on-site shop offers teas, essential oils, soaps, and local delicacies, including distinctive spirits made with honey and chamomile. The tea is produced by students of the Stjepan Sulimanac High School in Popovača, who grow chamomile on 36 hectares of land along the Drava River. The largest producer in the region is Marijan Mareković from Lozan near Virovitica: with 400 hectares of land, he produces 600 tons of chamomile annually using both conventional and organic methods, and exports almost all of it – mostly to Germany.
