Oil mill MONTE ROSSO GRAND SELECTION PLATINUM single-variety extra virgin olive oil is produced from hand-picked and selected Istrian olives. It has a dark green colour, intense fruitiness, pleasantly pronounced bitterness and intense spiciness. The aroma is dominated by green olive leaves, and the taste by green almonds, green beans and aromatic herbs. All the flavours and aromas in this fantastic oil are excellently balanced. Monte Rosso Grand Selection Platinum oil can be paired perfectly with tuna carpaccio, truffle risotto and creamy chocolate ice cream. The Monte Rosso estate is located in the Northwestern part of Istria, in the village of Crveni vrh, not far from Savudrija, and their olive grove covers 40 hectares, with plantations of 14,000 trees that are gradually in full production. The Grand Selection Platinum series, with a protected DNA profile, is produced in a limited edition of 600 bottles. They also produce Casa blend, Premium and Grand Selection extra virgin olive oils. In addition to internationally awarded olive oils, Monte Rosso is known for its top-quality wines and spirits, which you can taste with expert guidance on their beautiful estate overlooking the Savudrija Bay.
