Autumn in the spirit of art, flavors and good vibes
The Keight Hotel (Curio Collection by Hilton) in Opatija last week announced its autumn-winter program by presenting their novelties: a new promo film, a new gastronomic and oenological experiences, special thematic events and a socially responsible collaboration with the Association of Children with Down Syndrome - Rijeka 21.
"This is the way and mission how HIlton operates in the community: we create good impressions and footprints for tourism, we are inclusive, and we start micro and macro trends" - at the press conference said Josipa Jutt Ferlan, director of Hilton Hotels Zagreb, whose portfolio also includes two hotels from Hilton's Curio line - Keight and Ugljan.
In addition to the existing specialties of the hotel restaurant Pierrot, the autumn season at Keight brings a new offer of Asian dishes created under the guidance of chef Miroslav Janjić. There will be exclusive dinners paired with top wines, and favorite weekend rituals for Opatija residents and tourists – Saturday brunch, and Sunday lunches for family and friends, priced 44 euros. During Chocolate Week in November, guests can expect a Rooftop Chocolate Mixology dinner, a "Chocolate Souffle" workshop with chef Ana Srdoč, a chocolate menu in the Pierrot restaurant, as well as a "Choco Delight" spa package. The end of the year is reserved for Advent and the New Year’s eve celebration with holiday cocktails and special menus.
Pierrot full of memories
The new promotional film of the Keight Hotel, which was realized by the production company Filmeria on the initiative of Anamaria Hauptfeld Schweitzer, follows a woman who, passing through the hotel, becomes Pierrot - a symbol of play, emotion and curiosity.
"The concept of the film stems from personal memories. Pierrot was always present in our house - the collection that my father MIljenko put together over the years also shaped my visual sensibility. The need to create this film arose from a series of international presentations and workshops at which Katarina Line promotes Croatia, Kvarner Region and Opatija, and within that context, her portfolio, whose most modern project is Keight Hotel Opatija" - explained Anamaria Hauptfeld Schweitzer, daughter of Katarina Hauptfeld - founder of the Katarina Line company.

Embrace the community
This company has been supporting the Association for Children with Down Syndrome - Rijeka 21 for years, and since it opened last year, the Keight Hotel has also joined the collaboration. From every cocktail sold, the hotel donates 0.50 euros to the Association, and guests are given soaps made by members of the Association. They have also recently been involved in hotel events: waiters taught them how to serve, and children served their parents. Members of the Association will also be able to use the hotel pool at agreed times.
"Through the autumn-winter program, we want to offer experiences that combine excellence in gastronomy, creativity and social responsibility. The collaboration with the Down – Rijeka 21 Association is an example of our commitment to creating a positive impact in the community in which we operate" - stated Davor Kovčalija, director of the Keight Hotel.
