Experience the art of the aroma, flavor and color with Krauthaker wines
This well-known family-owned winery has been representing Croatia around the world in the best light possible for years now
Krauthaker wines are renowned and esteemed not only in Croatia and the region but also worldwide. This comes as no surprise - given the rich family tradition of eco-sustainable wine making, which has resulted in 25 different wine labels that are made today in the cellars of this winery.
The secret lies in high standards and premium quality, but also in the passion with which each of the production stages is carried out. More than 100 years old techniques are still used in the production, as well as the traditional soil and grapevine cultivation with horses, just like in the old times.
Although the winery's success is primarily linked to its owner and one of the most famous Croatian winemakers, Vlado Krauthaker, most of the credit for the new and modern business approach goes to his daughter, Martina Krauthaker Grgić. This combination of youth and experience has again proved to be a winning combination, resulting in numerous prizes and honors at famous global wine stages, including Decanter World Wine Awards, Chardonnay du Monde, Challenge International du Vin, MUNDUSvini Great International Wine Award, International Graševina Festival, and many others.
The prestigious awards have contributed to the export of Krauthaker wines to 17 countries around the world and placed the wines on the wine maps of famous world restaurants. Some of the most prominent are Moti Mahal and The Fat Duck in London, La Cape and La Cite du Vin in Bordeaux and the Michelin-starred restaurant Bloom in the Park in Malmö, Sweden.
The Krauthaker vineyards are crossed by the symbolic 45.3° parallel, the same one that in the west crosses the world-famous wine-growing areas such as Piedmont, Val du Rhone, Bordeaux and Oregon.
