EUROPEAN HOTEL AWARDS 2023

The prestigious European Hotel Awards 2023, held last week in Barcelona, the Catalan capital of tourism and gastronomy, gathered at the gala ceremony numerous invitees, distinguished guests and enthusiasts from the fields of tourism, hotel management and gastronomy. In the luxury hotel Sofitel Skipper they had the opportunity to pay tribute to the best European hotels, innovative approaches, gastronomy, excellence and commitment to sustainability.
Every year, the European Hotel Awards reward the best European boutique hotels, the magnificent hotel institutions, their concepts, diversity and commitment. The awards were given in 21 categories, and among the many luxury hotels, Zagreb's Esplanade Hotel received two awards: the hotel restaurant of the year for the Zinfandel's restaurant and a special award from the World Gastronomic Organization (Organisation Mondiale de la Gastronomie) the Etoile Blanche, which went to the chef Ana Grgić Tomić.

With this, the Esplanade Hotel once again showed that it is at the very top of the best European hotels, as it has done countless times during its almost hundred-year history" said Ivica Max Krizmanić the General Director of Hotel Esplanade.

Launched in 2018, the European Hotel Awards have become a highly prestigious award given to hotels across the continent. By recognizing and honoring the unique hotel services, these awards aim to promote and strengthen the image of the European hotel industry.
