With this workshop we were thrilled to announce the new gastronomic guide Gault&Millau Croatia 2020 and Gault&Millau Awards Ceremony that will take place on the 3rd of March 2020.

Lidija Drobac, director of Kotányi, revealed that she was extremely pleased that three chefs with impressive biographies - Dragica Lukin, Floriana Ružić and Biljana Milina together with successful winemaker Višnja Žugaj Zdjelarević - gathered for the occasion.

Quality ingredients and spices are the key components to any successful meal and dessert. The three inventive chefs used Kotányi spices as important ingredients for their creations, such as Kotányi's vanilla sugar with real Bourbon vanilla, natural lemon flavored sugar, natural orange flavored sugar and chopped lemon peel.

Innovative and sumptuous desserts were complemented by Debic Culinaire cooking cream, Debic Stand & Overrun pastry cream, Debic Traditional Butter and Debic Roast & Fry, a liquid mix of clarified butter and vegetable oil.

Dragica Lukin is a top pastry chef with an enviable career trajectory. She is a member of Croatia's gastronomy academy and Croatian Federation of Pastry Chefs.

Floriana Ružić, chef of Gourmet Restaurant San Rocco, has enriched a traditional Istrian food with white truffles, thereby creating a truly unique gastronomic delicacy.

Biljana Milina, chef and pastry chef of the Tavern Mate in Korčula, delighted everyone present with a white chocolate and laurel mousse. Thanks to her amazing creations and the boldness of using aromatic herbs in her sweet creations, she was awarded with the Gault&Millau trophy for the Pastry Chef of the year 2019.

Superb gastronomy usually goes hand in hand with delicious wines, so, especially for this occasion, Višnja Žugaj Zdjelarević took care of this part. Zdjelarević wines from the "Z light" series perfectly complemented the interesting gastronomic story.
