Gault&Millau Croatia was presented at the Conference of Catering and Tourism Industry
The 30th Conference of Catering and Tourism Industry Officials of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (HOK) was held in Solaris hotel, Šibenik 13-14/11/2017. It gathered about 500 caterers and their guests, who discussed the actuality in this branch.
Minister of Tourism, Mr Gari Cappelli opened the Conference and thanked the caterers for making as he said, in extremely difficult conditions, this successful tourist year.
The topics covered at the Conference were the results of the tourist season, the application of an increased VAT rate, the sector's state and perspectives, employment, education and quality improvement in catering as well as other topics of interest to the profession.
One of the themes was the gastronomy, and the presentation of the world's gastronomic guide Gault & Millau, recognizable by the slogan "Luxury is in the quality, not in the price." Mrs Ingrid Badurina Danielsson, Gault&Millau Croatia director, presented the Gault&Millau Croatia, and announced the first edition for Croatia, which will be launched in spring 2018.
