At the gala dinner and the promotion of Gault&Millau Croatia, the first generation of 11 successful participants of the Raise the Bar Academy has received certificates. At the ceremony, led by presenter Frano Ridjan, certificates were presented to Mario Divić, Filip Došen, Karlo Dužević, Matija Ivanišević, Nikolina Kalentić, Karlo Kelvišer, Franko Mandić Baranović, Luka Marić, Lovro Mavrinac, Daniel Zović and Petra Žukina. The Project Manager of Raise the Bar Filip Verbanac, also presented certificates to the students together with Kruno Rozić head of Raise the Bar, were present at the ceremony.
Raise the Bar´s objective is creating a database of educated, gifted and excellent people who will further improve the catering offer and contribute to further strengthening of the competitiveness of Croatian tourism. The project is focused on educating waiters, bartenders and baristas in line with the latest industrial and gastronomic trends, and will provide more than 250 highly educated people for catering and tourism in the next five years.
