The best POP 2019- Paradox wine&cheese bar

Wine&cheese bar Paradox has everything a great POP place should have. This modern designed wine bar, located not far from Split's waterfront, largely contributes to the City’s gourmet scene. Both locals and foreigners visit the bar, so it is no surprise that it was recommended by the New York Times and that in January 2019 the prestigious American Wine Magazine "Hideway Report 2019, Editor's Choice Award" awarded it for the Best Wine&Cockails Bars category. In the excellent selection you can find  soft, young, semi-hard and mature Croatian cheeses,  as well as international ones, mixed in various combinations, and served with local jams and honey.You can also try some meat specialties such as Baranjski kulen, Istrian ham, Dalmatian bacon and some fish specialties such as marinated anchovies or seabass. With their homemade bread in Paradox, they serve different kinds of olive oil and olives spread. The wine list is truly impressive, containing over one hundred Croatian and international wines. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable in the offer of meals and wines. A great advantage is that, unlike similar venues, Paradox is open all year round, and one can attend wine workshops or various concerts.  Paradox sticks to a proven good formula for success. It does not wander into food experiments and focuses on improving the existing offer. That is the approach we are looking for: to go for a concept knowing what  you want to offer to your guests and tailor it to perfection.  Paradox deserves the trophy Best POP 2019 because of its constant and good quality offer, pleasant atmosphere, and many happy faces that visit it.
