A New Edition of the Gault&Millau Croatia 2021 guide wil be realesed on June 1, 2021

On the 3rd of March 2020 Croatian Gault&Millau community last time gathered for the presentation of the third edition of international gastronomic guide, and to award the best chefs and restaurants. Gala dinner for 230 people, held in Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb has been the biggest chef’s gathering on the Croatian gastronomic scene. More than 130 of them responded to the invitation to celebrate their quality, enthusiasm and passion for gastronomy.

Unreal experience, we would say from nowadays perspective. But in spite of very difficult year for restaurateurs and hoteliers affected by recession and pandemic, Gault&Millau Croatia does not give up. We had to correct the release date of a new edition. Guided with motto “luxury is in the quality, not in the price” the Gault&Millau inspectors evaluated the best places and chefs, also trying to discover some new places in all Croatian regions. Regardless whether they are a fine - dining restaurant or the modest but authentic tavern, we want to encourage them together with small food and wine producers, to remain dedicated to their passion to the ingredients of their local region. Despite all obstacles and challenges.

The fourth edition of Gault&Millau Croatia 2021 we will present at the ceremony on June 1, 2021., together with culinary trophies awards to the best chefs and restaurants. More details follows.
