Chef's Restaurant
As soon as you step on the terrace of the Točkica bistro, on the edge of the Trešnjevka district, you are in a good mood. The dotted pattern accompanies you everywhere: from pillows, coasters, enamel salad bowls, on glass bottles with cold water that they do not charge the guest, and even on paper bags for packaging leftover food. Točkica is a rare place where the menu lists the name of the family farm from which they get cheese and cream, Drniš prosciutto, black Slavonian pig sausages and crispy delicious vegetables, and with the offer of dishes there is also a wine recommendation. The bistro is open every day, the daily offer includes traditional dishes: beef with potatoes in butter and tomato sauce, chicken stew with wide noodles, pašticada with homemade gnocchi, meatballs with mashed potatoes, green bean chušpajz... Their classics are the most sought after: thin, Viennese milk veal steak - firm on the outside and supple on the inside, with a slightly spiced potato salad, and perfectly breaded picek with rizi bizi. A small portion contains fillet, drumsticks and karabatak and wings, and under the crispy wrapper, the juicy meat is separated from the bones. Among the desserts, we highlight Kaiseršmarn with homemade apple mousse, apricot pie with toasted almonds and vanilla ice cream with pumpkin seed oil. The service is excellent, and the old hits of Đimi, Špišić and Arsen only enhance the feeling of warmth of the homely atmosphere. In the end, you get the legendary bronchi candy with the bill. Rarely an honest price-quality ratio.
