This simple spot near the Podsused Bridge has been a favorite location for family and other gatherings with good food and spritzers for years. The Suhina family has nurtured the spirit of domestic tradition and customs for generations, relying on basic human values – warmth, togetherness, and a sincere relationship with guests. Their long-standing experience and the passing down of knowledge from generation to generation can be felt in every detail - from food preparation to the way guests are welcomed. The gastronomic offer is based on traditional homemade cuisine and grilled dishes. If you are visiting for the first time, don’t miss to order the breaded chicken - juicy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Many guests consider it among the best versions of this dish in continental Croatia. Taste their homemade soup - rich and full of flavor. Their stews are hearty and pair perfectly with homemade bread, while lovers of stronger flavours can enjoy excellent grilled sausages and blood sausages. They also offer breaded carp and Žumberak-style trout (pan-fried with garlic and parsley), and for dessert - pancakes, strudels, and plum dumplings. The interior is rustic, with plenty of wood, and in warm weather guests sit in the courtyard and on the terrace. The wine list is modest and undefined (white, red, bulk wine), and among bottled wines only the local Režek label is available.
