In the immediate vicinity of the Đakovo Region Museum, the Lipizzano restaurant proudly nurtures the spirit of Slavonia. The interior is a sophisticated interplay of Slavonian elements – red brick, natural wood, and motifs of the Lipizzaner horses that are inseparable from Đakovo. This warm and welcoming ambiance is ideal for a business lunch, a family dinner, or enjoying pizza with friends. The gastronomic offer is based on high-quality ingredients and generous portions. Among around thirty types of wood-fired pizzas, two stand out – Cannabis and Vege Cannabis. Despite their provocative names, their ingredients are fairly conventional, with the exception of hemp flour, which gives the dough a greenish colour. Although they are best known for their pizzas, the grill is also a strong asset of this family-run restaurant, both for its flavour and its affordable prices – a pork roll stuffed with cheese in a green pepper sauce, served with gnocchi, costs €11.80. New additions to the menu include gnocchi with prosciutto and sage, as well as a kebab salad, while lovers of seafood can enjoy squid and hake. Desserts change seasonally, but the chocolate soufflé with ice cream is excellent year-round. The restaurant offers private parking for its guests.
