Gault&Millau's review 2026

Petar Pan pastry shop has been run for 37 years by Neda Junušić, a two-time winner of Osijek’s Best Entrepreneur award and recipient of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts’ recognition for outstanding contributions to craftsmanship and the promotion of the hospitality and tourism sector. She opened her first pastry shop on Ribarska Street in 1989 with her husband Živko after returning from Germany, gradually expanding the business over the years. Seven years ago, they renovated a dilapidated house in the Tvrđa, carefully adhering to all conservation requirements, and in this charming space, they are slowly passing the business on to their children – son Slaven, a graduate economist, and daughter Martina, a professional pastry chef. The pastry shop is like something out of a fairy tale, with a spacious courtyard and a bright, welcoming interior. It attracts students from nearby schools, local workers, and is especially popular with tourists exploring the oldest part of Osijek. They offer around forty flavours of ice cream, about fifteen cakes, and a variety of pastries, and Petar Pan is also a sought-after destination for festive celebrations.
