Located within the Gradski vrt Sports Hall, the Pizzeria Novi Saloon is a stable place of local gastronomic scene. Large and simple decorated interior maintains a pleasant atmosphere, suitable for both family lunches and casual evening gatherings. The personnel are friendly and efficient, which further contributes to the overall impression. An extensive menu, in addition to pizzas, includes meat dishes, pasta, salads and desserts, with a clear emphasis on generous portions and proven flavours. We tried one of the special pizzas, the Italian, prepared with classic ingredients such as mozzarella, pečenica (smoked, cured pork loin), arugula, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and Grana Padano. The pizza is well-balanced, with the expectedly good dough and abundant filling, exactly what the guests are looking for. We also tried the SOS steak – a stuffed pork fillet with kajmak (a clotted cream fresh cheese), wrapped in bacon served with grilled mushrooms, French fries and a bun. It is an unpretentious, tasty and filling dish. Among the desserts from a display case, we recommend the tiramisù with pistachio cream, but they also offer the classic tiramisù and the lava cake. There is a wide selection of standard drinks, while the wine list highlights Korlat from the Benkovac region. Novi Saloon is a place of proven quality with familiar flavours and generous portions, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
