The menu of this small restaurant near Zagreb’s Remiza (The tramway terminal) is based on BBQ street food from the American South and Southwest - chicken wings, pork ribs, veal and beef ribs, even tuna steak, in various spicy or less spicy sauces. Most of the food is first cooked for a long time or smoked, and then finished on the grill. But, in addition, the menu includes several soups (cold with leeks and hot with mushrooms), Adriatic fish patties in tempura, grilled Adriatic swordfish fillet, several types of salads and - a vegan burger! Along with this food, it is possible to order five or six cocktails, and there is a little more than twenty labels of wine on offer, with two sparkling wines and two dessert wines, some of which are also poured by the glass. At the end of the meal, you can choose between three desserts - homemade bourbon vanilla ice cream, apple pie and chocolate soufflé. The space is very cosy, partially glazed, the walls are decorated with various quirky exhibits and memorabilia, and yet it doesn’t seem cheap and kitsch, but rather like a reliable and well -established neighbourhood pub where everyone is welcome.
