The name Schön Blick (German: “beautiful view”) perfectly reflects the ambiance of this complex on the slopes of Papuk - open views of the Slavonian valley, vineyards and surrounding nature. The restaurant is located in the village of Vetovo, a ten-minute drive from Požega, and is truly an ideal place to escape from everyday life. The interior is warm and cosy, with elements of rustic Slavonian style, and the main asset of the exterior is the spacious terrace overlooking the ponds and greenery. In addition to the restaurant, the property also has bungalows for guest accommodation by the lake, walkways and sports fields. The restaurant’s menu is based on traditional Slavonian and international cuisine, made from fresh and local ingredients - such as carp, catfish and trout from their own ponds. The house specialty is the drunken carp - marinated and baked with the spices and wine, which gives it a rich, aromatic flavour. In addition to river fish specialties, they also offer meat dishes, such as slowly prepared veal shank served with baked potatoes and roast sauce. Or Barun Trenk - a juicy pork steak stuffed with kulen (hot sausage) and enriched with ajvar, which gives it a spicy and strong flavour. The gastronomic offer is complemented by the wines from the Kutjevo vineyards - Graševina, Blue Frankish and Cabernet Sauvignon. Schön Blick is extremely popular for celebrations, not only in the spacious hall, but also outdoors, in the beautiful surroundings by the ponds.
