Surrounded by the greenery of Julius Park and flower beds in the centre of the city, restaurant Terasa has an almost countryside charm. The atmosphere reflects this as well, since the building is part of the Daruvar Spa complex. The interior is bright and spacious, making it suitable for various events and celebrations, while offering guests traditional dishes from the region. This means Western Slavonian and Czech meat specialties – since the Czech national minority in Daruvar has a rich culinary heritage. We recommend famous Daruvar potato soup and a Czech cuisine classic – venison and wild boar goulash with knedličke (bread dumplings). Additionally, taste the turkey roulade stuffed with vegetables served in a bun, Daruvar-style mashed potatoes, or baked potatoes with cheese and bacon. Terasa offers a wide selection of turkey, chicken, and veal steaks prepared in various sauces or grilled, as well as grilled freshwater fish, different pizzas and pasta dishes. Halal and gluten-free dishes are also available. Desserts are traditional: pancakes filled with walnuts, chocolate, jam, ice cream... There are also Czech steamed dumplings filled with jam, rolled in walnuts and served with cream. The wine list is not particularly extensive, but you can order beers from the Daruvar Brewery. Terasa is a pleasant place with tasty food, good service, and acceptable prices.
