This small family winery is the only official producer of Jarbola wine and sparkling wine made from this indigenous variety, which was saved from near extinction by the oenologist Franko Ružić. The vineyards are located on terraced terrain in the hinterland of Matulji. Due to small plots inaccessible to large machinery, most of the work is done manually. Although the winery has only about 3,000 vines, the parcels are scattered, requiring significant time and effort. At an altitude of 400 meters, Jarbola develops beautiful fruity aromas, low alcohol levels, and finely expressed acidity - making it ideal for sparkling wine production. Their still quality wine with protected geographical indication and the premium sparkling wine, produced using the traditional method for about a decade, stand out for their freshness and vibrancy.
