Winery presentation by Gault&Millau

On the slopes of Fruška Gora, across renowned vineyard sites such as Dekan, Veliko Brdo, Principovac, Vukovo, Rađevac, and Radoš, the Ilok-based Trs Winery cultivates 60 hectares of vineyards, producing around 500,000 liters of wine annually. The cellar takes particular pride in its premium Graševina and Traminer, alongside other notable varieties including Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Frankovka, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Trs is a story of friendship, a shared passion for wine, and a deep connection to a region where vines flourish. It is also a story of dedication, hard work, and continuous investment in modern technology. Friends Zlatko Bošnjak and Marijo Faletar spent several years crafting wine in the Bošnjak family cellar before founding Trs Winery in 2007, ready to take their ambitions to a more professional level. Two years later, they were joined by Ilija Tokić, an entrepreneur from Sesvete, and together they built a respected and successful winery. Each partner plays a distinct role: Ilija Tokić was instrumental in securing European funding for the construction of the new winery, Marijo Faletar oversees the vineyards, and Zlatko Bošnjak leads the winemaking process.
