Baron Johann Baptista Maximilian Zuany, the then owner of the Erdut vineyard, built the Old Cellar in 1730, the oldest wine cellar in the Erdut vineyards. The new winery, with a capacity of six million litres, started to work in 1984. At that time, they made the largest wooden oak barrel in the world, with a capacity of 75 thousand litres, where they store only Graševina and it is always full to the brim. The vines of the dominant Graševina, as well as Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Traminer, Rhine Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blue Frankish and Zweigelt are planted on 450 hectares on the gentle slopes of Daljska Planina, along the Danube. These are the largest plantation vineyards in Croatia. The winery produces about three million litres of wine annually. They also have some special bottles with personalized labels from the New Line Semi-Dry Collection as well as the New Line Dry Collection with Pinot Gris, the Graševina, the Rosé and the Cuvée Noir. The area around the winery is a veritable green oasis with a well-maintained walkway - a klanter (tunnel under the vines) - that leads to a point with an impressive view of the Danube. There is also the Adamovich - Cseh mansion from the 18th century. Their Wine& Walk event is well known, and the wines can be tasted in group visits in the authentic premises of the winery.
