In the picturesque Vinodol Valley above Novi Vinodolski, there was once the medieval settlement of Pavlomir. Its name was revived in the late 1990s with the establishment of the Pavlomir Wine House. Over nearly 30 years, the Palinkaš family from Slavonia has created premium wines, especially the indigenous Žlahtina, alongside Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc, and Yellow Muscat. Their production emphasizes the control of the quality at every stage, resulting in wines known for freshness, fruitiness, and strong expression of the terroir. They also produce top-quality sparkling wines and offer tastings in a spacious cellar accommodating up to 70 visitors. Within the winery, there is a shop where visitors can purchase their bottled wines, sparkling wines, and brandies, as well as bulk wine, along with a variety of homemade cured meats, cheeses, olive oil, and honey.
