Distillery At the distillery in Požega, founded in 1995, the second generation of the Šimić family - Mateja, Franko, and Moreno - are now involved in business. All three participate in key aspects, from fruit cultivation to production and marketing. Production is based on their own orchards, primarily Williams pears and plums, while additional quantities are sourced from local growers. In their modern distillery, equipped with advanced fermentation control systems, and using double distillation and aging in stainless steel tanks (with some products aged in wooden barrels), the Šimić family produces a wide range of premium fruit brandies and liqueurs. Alongside pear brandy, plum brandy, quince brandy, apricot brandy, apple brandy, and cherry brandy, their liqueurs are highly valued - teranino, cherry liqueur, mead (from their own honey), and carob liqueur. In addition to the standard line, they offer the premium Nova Era collection - their highest-tier products, intended for lovers of top-quality, carefully crafted spirits. This line is characterized by longer aging, precisely balanced aromas, and pronounced complexity, while the elegant design makes each bottle suitable as a gift.
