Distillery Agronomist Krešimir Kostelac and his wife, economist Kristina Kostelac, established the Fructus distillery 20 years ago with a very clear vision – to create distillates that reflect the character of the region, as well as the demands of the modern market. The aim was clear: handcrafted production in small batches, with complete control over every step – from the selection of raw materials to bottling. As they are located at the foot of Mount Papuk, within a UNESCO Geopark, surrounded by unspoiled nature, they use natural spring water from Papuk in their production, along with fresh, high-quality local fruits and carefully selected plant ingredients. Their Kostelac brand is known for authentic flavors free from artificial additives. Among their first products were cherry and blackberry wines, followed by the development of fifteen types of liqueurs and brandies made from cherry, plum, and blueberry. Particularly striking is their Mountain Creek line of craft gins, made with 29 botanicals and enhanced with edible shimmer, while citrus lovers will enjoy the refreshing Bellevue range, featuring limoncello and orancello. They sell 8,000 liters of gin and 15,000 liters of other beverages in Croatia.
