Oil mill 2 ŠTORIJE is a multi-varietal extra virgin olive oil with an intense green-golden colour, high fruitiness and a very pleasantly balanced bitterness and spiciness. The aroma is dominated by freshly cut grass and Mediterranean herbs, while the taste has some beautiful notes of almonds, young fennel and broad beans. 2 Štorije goes excellently with a cream soup of wild asparagus, a scampi carpaccio and desserts based on white chocolate. The olive growing of the family farm OPG Plastić is based on organic farming and traditional production. On 20 hectares of olive groves, located between Biljani Donji, Nadin and Škabrnja, they grow as many as 5.000 olive trees. In their olive grove they have a combination of indigenous varieties Oblica, Istarska Bjelica, Buža, Rosignola, Lastovka with introduced varieties Coratina, Leccino, Pendolino, Cipressino, Ascolana Tenera. The quality of their organic olive oil is confirmed by numerous awards from prestigious foreign and domestic competitions.
