Oil mill Pumpkin cultivation is a long-standing tradition for the Špoljar family, now carried on by the fourth generation. It was started by Blaž Špoljar and his wife Gizela, the next two generations grew pumpkins for their own needs, and Davor Špoljar raised the entrepreneurial bar to a higher level by creating the FO(U)R KINGS brand, best known for its virgin pumpkin seed oil. Each year, he plants pumpkins on 6 to 12 hectares of fertile fields along the Drava River, within protected Natura 2000 areas and the Mura-Drava Regional Park. He uses exclusively dark green, whole seeds for traditionally produced virgin oil with a rich aroma and nutty flavor. Visitors can taste their products on - site or at major fairs, with an offer that includes roasted pumpkin seeds (salted and spicy), chocolate-coated products, spreads, pumpkin flour, cold-pressed oils, as well as homemade acacia honey, jams, and cured meat specialties from free-range black pigs.
