Gault&Millau Croatia 2024 to be released on April 18

In the past year, anonymous Gault&Millau inspectors visited hundreds of restaurants, taverns, pizzerias, snack bars, pastry shops and bars where food is served. Following the Gault&Millau international criteria they evaluated the quality of food and service throughout Croatia, in order to provide the food and wine lovers, local and foreign visitors, with a complete and objective information about the gastronomic offer of Croatia.

Present on the scene for almost 60 years, Gault&Millau is one of the world's leading gastronomic guides. It is reliable and respected because it is independent and objective, internationally recognized and well-known, especially among guests coming from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Benelux countries and France, as well as Japan, and also from the United Arab Emirates, where they also started to publish the guide. Since its presence in the country, Gault&Millau Croatia has been increasingly accepted by the local catering community, which has recognized the importance of the legendary yellow label with toques (chef's hat) for the promotion of Croatian gastronomy on the international scene. Today they know that the yellow guide contributes enormously to the branding of Croatia as an attractive gastronomic destination. The number of reviewed restaurants is increasing every year: 100 restaurants, 100 wines and 50 POP places were included in the first Croatian edition for 2018. In last year's edition, 270 restaurants, 100 wines, 20 olive oils and 100 POP places from all over Croatia were reviewed. In the upcoming, seventh edition, we will reveal some new places and new young chefs, but there will also be those who lost their place in the prestigious Gault&Millau Croatia 2024 selection.
