THE GAULT&MILLAU FRANCE AWARDS FOR 2024
The Gault&Millau France 2024 annual winners were awarded at the gala dinner hold in the Pavillon d'Armenonville in Paris.
The Frevnc Chef of the Year is Yoann Conte, chef at La Maison Bleue, an inspiring advocate of his profession who "cooks" with open heart, and his cooking style focuses on shared enjoyment.
For more than 50 years, the Gault&Millau talent discovery guide has directed readers to the best French restaurants, gastronomy, hospitality, artisans. The new 2024 edition follows that proud tradition with passion and goodwill; the tradition of the three D's started in 1987 by Henri Gault and Christian Millau: Découvrir, Décrire, Déranger (Discover, Describe, Disturb).
The event, which celebrates famous chefs as well as young talents, provided the perfect opportunity not only to launch the GM guide to France, but also to present the first edition of the completely redesigned Gault&Millau magazine. With the subtitle "seeing the world through gastronomy" the magazine has lost none of its original bold attitude. In that first issue, one page is dedicated to news from Croatia, and precisely from the region of Kvarner.
Once again the guide Gault&Millau has shown that it focuses on the future, but takes the readers off the beaten track to discover today's unique and exciting culinary scene.
