The launch of the new edition of the prestigious international gastronomic guide Gault&Millau Croatia 2023 will take place on April 18, at Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb. The Croatian VELPRO company is the premium partner of the guide and of the exclusive dinner organised for this event. The dinner will be prepared by the Gault&Millau chef of the year 2022, Ana Grgić Tomić – restaurant Zinfandel’s, 4 GM toques and 1 Green Michelin * – and the guest chef Paul Ivić – restaurant TIAN from Vienna, 4 GM toques, 1 Michelin*. During the gala dinner the best chefs and restaurants in Croatia will be awarded a number of prestigious annual Gault&Millau trophies.

For six years the gastronomic guide Gault &Millau Croatia has selected and evaluated the best restaurants in Croatia. The new 2023 guide includes 270 restaurants, 100 POP - popular places with a good quality food and affordable prices - 100 wines and for the first time a selection of 20 olive oils. The guide's promotion brings together more than 80 Croatian top chefs and among them the winners of the annual trophies in six different categories. This is the largest gathering of the gastronomic community in Croatia, known as the night of the culinary Oscars. Everybody is excited to know who will be the Chef of the year 2023. The most prestigious trophy – the Chef of the year – will be presented by a representative of VELPRO, the Gault&Millau Croatia 2023 premium partner, at the ceremony on April 18.
