The restaurant in the very center of the city, located in a lively pedestrian zone - between Ban Jelačić Square, Cvjetni Square and Zrinjevac - is easily accessible on foot. Its concept is Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on Italian classics, and a special place is occupied by fresh pasta, fish and seafood. Their offer is best illustrated by the Eggplant Parmigiana and the Parmigiana Reggiana made of mozzarella, tomato and basil, as well as a selection of cheeses with apricot, fig and orange jams, and appetizers such as bresaola and San Daniele prosciutto. From hot appetizers, we recommend black noodles in a rich octopus sauce, as well as creamy risotto with prawns and spinach. Meat lovers love their Rustica (sliced steak with baked potatoes, arugula, radicchio and cherry tomatoes), and on the fish menu, the fillet of bio sea bass in a Dalmatian prosciutto shell with chard and potatoes, as well as the turbot fillet with roe sauce and celery puree, attract attention. The selection of desserts is diverse and it is not easy to decide between lemon tart and chocolate fondant with ice cream and almond crumble. A newer addition to the restaurant is Boban Bistro, designed as a more casual part of the menu with salty and sweet snacks, freshly squeezed juices and hot and cold drinks. They especially highlight their own blend of Arabica and Robusta, which is produced for them in Italy. The atmosphere in the closed part of the restaurant is always lively and a bit noisy, while the outdoor terrace is discreetly immersed in the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian zone.
