The attractive terrace of the Antika restaurant, located in one of the alleys of the Old Town, embodies all the charm and spirit of true Dalmatian living – dining outdoors, in the pleasant rustle of passers-by and guests. On summer evenings, the atmosphere is lively and warm, while during the day the deep shade of the street provides an ideal haven for a break with a light lunch. The menu is short, but with carefully selected dishes. Fish, seafood and pasta predominate, but meat lovers will also find something for themselves – from lamb to juicy steaks. The offer combines classics of the Mediterranean cuisine, such as black risotto or sea bass fillet, with traditional local dishes interpreted in a modern way – for example, Kotlenka or sea Savur. Kotlenka brings the true taste of the sea and local cuisine. Fine fish and creamy polenta merge into a dish to eat with a spoon, which is at the same time reminiscent of ancient times and surprises with a modern approach. Along with it, octopus with chickpeas proved to be another interesting combination, rich in texture and authentic flavours. Although black risotto and scampi risotto sound like classics, you definitely shouldn’t skip them here – both are full of freshness, balanced flavours and a delicacy that is rarely found. The wine list relies on Dalmatian varieties, with a few foreign wines and French champagnes, offering enough choice for even the most demanding guests. A warm atmosphere and good food – that’s what you will get at Antika.
