Basta is still a good place for a quick and quality meal in the very center of Zagreb. The modern interior, pleasant atmosphere and beautiful terrace make it a great choice for a break during the day or for informal socializing. In addition to the famous Neapolitan pizzas, the menu includes a variety of salads, focaccia and Italian sandwiches, cheese and cold cuts, meat dishes and several desserts. The dessert offer is a bit more modest - with olive oil, olives and oregano, and it was fantastic! We also tasted the rucola e breasaola pizza, which was delicious, but perhaps too salty for someone's taste. Bresaola is a top Italian beef jerky that comes from the Valtellina region in northern Italy, salted, seasoned with herbs and air-dried without smoking. The pizza dough was a bit tough. The service is fast and professional, and the staff is young and friendly. Food arrives at the table without long waits, which is especially important for those who are in a hurry. Despite the increase in prices in the hospitality industry, Basta has maintained a very fair price-quality ratio and remains an excellent address for refreshments, which is gladly visited by domestic guests and tourists.
