With almost 30 locations throughout Croatia, most of which are in Zagreb, Batak is Croatia's largest chain of grill restaurants known not only for its grilled dishes, but also for other attractive specialties. All restaurants are similarly decorated, in a modern industrial style, but in warm earthy colors, with wooden details, brick walls and large comfortable sofas and armchairs. The ambience is very pleasant everywhere, and the staff is friendly and professional. The menu always includes kebabs, gourmet burgers, meat fritters and stuffed hangers, but they also offer BBQ ribs and wings and rib-eye steak. You can also get salmon or sea bass fillet, breaded crispy mozzarella and breaded red peppers stuffed with cheese. Chicken, salmon or quinoa salads are delicious and light. In most locations, including Dubrava, Batak has introduced a weekend brunch from 9 am to 12 pm. We especially like poached eggs with avocado cream, cheese sauce and wholemeal sourdough focaccia; just like Benedict eggs - 2 poached eggs on wholemeal focaccia, with ham, cheddar cheese, hollandaise sauce and crispy bacon. Shakshouka is also nice, with tomatoes, zucchini, onion eggs and salted cheese. For those who like a healthy breakfast, there is also chia pudding with cocoa. Proven and consistent quality, good service and low prices make Batak very attractive for all guests - those who come here for a family lunch, for a quick meal or to hang out with friends. And everyone is happy to come back here.
