Anyone who comes to Boccone once and tries one of their Neapolitan pizzas is likely to come back to discover other flavours. The reason is quite simple: the dough is light and airy, thin and soft in the middle, and puffy and crispy on the edges. The pizza toppings are Italian, high -quality and generously distributed according to the rules of the trade, which means that the cold cuts on it are not thermally processed. Furthermore, the ambiance is pleasant, they also have a terrace, and the personnel are helpful. The offer includes classic, gourmet and pizzas with a recommendation title, and the backbone of each is pelati and Mozzarella Fior di Latte, while the toppings vary from cooked ham, prosciutto, pancetta, mortadella, tartufata, spicy salami to mushrooms, artichokes, gorgonzola, grana padano, ricotta, pesto and various peppers. We highlight the richness of the Boccone pizza, stuffed with fresh arugula leaves, generous pieces of bresaola, a ball of burrata in the middle, sprinkled with finely chopped pistachios and there are also grana padano shavings, some reduced aceto balsamico over them and a few Kalamata olives. Boccone’s pizza masters have also created four delicious pizzas inspired by Croatian rivers: Danube with kulen(spicy Slavonian salami), Mirna with boškarin (Istrian autoghthonous beef), Mura with meat from tiblica (a wooden barrel to preserve pork meat) and Neretva with cheese from mišina (cheese from the skin sack). The choice of drinks is rich, as is the selection of beer, and the service is fast and professional.
