Bonaca is one of our trusted addresses in Skradin, which will always meet your expectations. Located in a quiet side street the restaurant is spacious with a beautifully decorated interior and a glassed-in terrace. The tables are covered with impeccably clean linen tablecloths and napkins which nowadays you can rarely find in the restaurants along the Adriatic. Bonaca is known for its traditional Dalmatian cuisine prepared with quality local ingredients. They have their regular guests who return because they know that they will always find fresh fish and seafood here, considering that the owner is from the Bulat family, which has been fishing for generations. There are no major changes to the menu. Homemade fish pâté is always on offer, as are various grilled fish, and you can choose them from the daily catch. We tasted the excellent grilled scallops, with a sweet meat, seasoned only with olive oil. And after that, their black risotto, which deserves all the praise. The grilled Adriatic squid were especially delicious, expertly grilled, golden yellow in colour, juicy and soft, but with a firm texture. They also prepare the traditional Skradin risotto with veal that is cooked for hours to achieve tenderness. You will enjoy the aroma and powerful flavours of this iconic dish. Like every year, we ordered the Skradin cake for the end because this is a rare opportunity to taste this unique dessert. The personnel is very friendly and will be happy to help you choose dishes and wines. If you want the authentic Dalmatian cuisine, and especially the traditional Skradin dishes, then you should not miss Bonaca.
