For the last five years, people have been going to the bistro on the plateau of the Dolac market for a good breakfast, brunch and lunch. The concept has been vegetarian and vegan from day one, with dishes that change according to the season and the offer of Zagreb's markets. The ambience of Broom was even more special when the upper part of Dolac was working, because of the view of the busy world and colorful benches, but the morning coffee on their terrace still has a special charm. Broom has a reputation as one of the best specialty cafes in the city, and in addition to various types of premium coffee, they offer teas, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, and fine dishes by Klara Bertek Jelišić. The menu always includes avocado toast, omelette, tofu/katsu sandwiches, oatmeal with seasonal additions and vegan soparnik, and the creative chef presents something new every now and then. For example, Ajoblanco - a cold soup made from Spanish bread and almonds, served with melon and cucumbers. Beans on grill - grilled green beans topped with smoked tofu and basil cream with crispy onions - are also very well received. On weekends, it is difficult to get a table at Broome, and during the week the situation is a little better.
