Restaurant Mondo, on the slope leading to the main entrance to Motovun, offers a warm atmosphere, a pleasant interior and a captivating view, but what really makes it special is the excellent food that will satisfy even the most refined tastes. The friendly staff will make your stay at the restaurant a true gourmet experience. For starters, you can try Istrian prosciutto or homemade cheese, and we will highlight the Boškarin carpaccio (the autochthonous beef breed) with black truffle, enriched with first-class olive oil. Pasta lovers can choose between fuži, trenette, penne, tagliatelle, ravioli or gnocchi in various sauces and, of course, with the addition of truffles. For the main course, we ordered lamb ribs in Teran sauce with polenta! Well-known local ingredients and a top-notch execution! The juicy and tender meat, with the addition of a fragrant and thick sauce, which nevertheless does not overpower the taste of the lamb, creates a superb combination of flavours. We especially appreciate the offer of homemade bread, a perfect addition to any dish. The desserts are less Istrian, but the semifreddo in caramel sauce was nice and refreshing. The wine list offers a solid selection of wines. The restaurant Mondo has the charm of old Motovun and Istria, and is perfect for a relaxed evening out or a romantic dinner. You will enjoy in the excellent dishes.
