Konoba Nikola in Stobreč, has been the best fish restaurant in the area for years, and continues to grow in quality and offer. It is always stocked with top-quality fresh fish and seafood, and every dish is always prepared in a top-notch manner. A favourite destination of the people of Split, the classically decorated restaurant, located in a small space on the ground floor of a family house, is always full, so it is worth booking a table. In addition to top-quality fish, crabs and shellfish, they also offer various organic vegetables, and they have an extensive wine list. Here you will certainly find the best St Jacques scallops in the region. You will also get the best tuna carpaccio without a single vein, impecca bly cut, as well as live scampi carpaccio on arugula, with capers and top-quality olive oil. The risottos are impeccable. In addition to the simplicity and the perfection in the preparation of fish and seafood delicacies, they are also special in the preparation of the side dishes made from home-grown vegetables and wild herbs from their garden. Be sure to try the unique home-grown tomatoes, which you cannot find anymore today, with a forgotten taste and aroma. At the end, after all we had for lunch, we couldn’t resist to their flambéed pancakes with strawberries that have become their signature dish. They are so good that you will break any diet, because they are abundant and rich, in complete contrast to the simplicity of the previous dishes. One thing is for sure: you will always leave this restaurant happy and satisfied!
