Gourmet Restaurant
Located above a small harbor in the old town of Mošćenička Draga, Konoba Pescaria enjoys an almost ideal position, between a small fishing port and the tourist promenade. The terrace overlooks boats and the sea, while the interior is tucked into the stone structure of the old town, creating an authentic Kvarner atmosphere. Owner Antoan Hrelja developed the tavern from a local fishing tradition, relying on the “from boat to table” concept, gradually placing it on the gastronomic map of Kvarner. The menu, mainly focused on fish and seafood, is based on daily cooperation with local fishermen and therefore depends on their catch. Both wild and farmed fish are used, always clearly indicated. One of their standout dishes is grilled scorpionfish—exceptionally juicy and perfectly cooked, delivering a pure fish flavor without “masking.” A house specialty is pasta with shrimp, offering a rich experience thanks to its creamy, velvety sauce and excellent pasta. The pride of the region, Kvarner scampi, is prepared in many ways - from modern raw versions to classic recipes. The wine list is based on domestic wines, mostly from Istria, which pair well with fish, such as Pinot Gris variety.
