Chef's Restaurant
Bistro Nico's is located in the heart of the city, on European Square, and yet it is completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its terrace in the passage of the Ban Center is extremely pleasant on warm days, and the modern interior space on two floors exudes simplicity. The menu is not large, it changes seasonally, and it is designed to delight fish, meat and vegetarian lovers by offering cold and hot appetizers and main courses. All three summer soups - beef, gazpacho with shrimp tail, and cream soup made of pea broad beans and mint - are delicious and hearty. Steak tartare with egg yolk in the middle, served with fried fries and toasted homemade focaccia, is an unpretentious dish to enjoy with a glass of wine, and notes of fennel and apple give it a special freshness. Also recommended is the gopher tartare with cucumber, sesame and broccoli espuma. Among the hot appetizers, risotto with saffron and veal shank stand out, and homemade agnolotti stuffed with ricotta with chanterelle ragout. All their pastas can actually take on the role of the main course because the portions are rich enough in ingredients and flavors. The main course, white fish fillet, is prepared on the grill or poached, with roasted mini vegetables or classic Swiss chard with potatoes. Nico's is a modern bistro, with delicious food, an excellent selection of wines, a good atmosphere, young and professional service. A place for every recommendation. If you are not in the mood to eat, there is their attractive bar right next door.
