Located on the famous Obrov Street, next to the city’s fish market, among many other restaurants, Pandora Greenbox is still one of the most popular vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Split. Gault&Millau Croatia awarded it the best POP place in Croatia for 2022. The space is simple but impressive. The interior is filled with plants and natural materials, so you have the impression of an urban garden. The terrace fits into the surroundings, but the interior is what the restaurant is remembered for. Pandora often works at full capacity, especially during the tourist season, so you can wait a little longer for your food. The cuisine is entirely plant-based and relies on seasonal, local and organic ingredients. The menu is diverse and visually attractive, with an emphasis on a balance of flavours and textures. In addition to the signature burgers, dishes such as falafel with roasted pepper hummus and barley risotto with mushrooms, they also offer tortillas stuffed with jackfruit (the largest tropical fruit in the world, whose unripe fruit has a texture similar to meat) and a salad with roasted pumpkin and citrus dressing. The menu is accompanied by homemade lemonades, cold-pressed juices, cocktails, wines and specialty coffees. Pandora Greenbox also attracts those who do not normally eat vegan, but want to try new flavours with a unique combinations of ingredients.
