Chef's Restaurant
Pet bunara Dine & Wine, located in the very historic centre of Zadar, near the square of the same name, is a restaurant that skilfully combines the city’s rich past with modern gastronomic expression. Upon entering, the interior leaves a strong impression, in which stone, wood and contemporary details harmoniously intertwine, while the glass floor provides a unique view of the remains of the city walls - a rare privilege that turns a meal into a kind of journey through time. There is also an indoor and an outdoor terrace arranged on two floors. The wine list is exceptionally rich and carefully selected, with an emphasis on domestic labels, but also interesting international wines. The names of the dishes themselves arouse curiosity and announce a gastronomic experience with character. As the introduction to the dinner they serve the Zadar’s Memento. Spiced homemade bread with olive tapenade, almonds, beetroot, cottage cheese, chickpea purée and pancetta chips. A clear signature of the cuisine: local, thoughtful and imaginative. For the main course, we chose Napoleon’s Sin – a slow-cooked lamb shank that literally falls off the bone, served with potatoes with homemade pancetta and cheese, red onion and plum, and crispy onion chips. A sumptuous, hearty dish, deeply rooted in Dalmatian tradition, but presented in a contemporary and refined way. Finally, a signature dessert classic, Šinjorina’s (which in Dalmatian means Miss) tangerine cake, rustic and fragrant. Pet bunara Dine & Wine is not just a restaurant, but a complete experience that combines ambiance, top-notch food and wine with the spirit of Zadar.
