Sky Restaurant is located on the tenth floor of the Olympia Sky Hotel and it offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Šibenik archipelago, Vodice and the surrounding islands. The impressive view, the modern interior and the pleasant atmosphere make it an ideal place for an intimate dinner at sunset, but also for a business or family lunch. The restaurant’s motto “Dalmatia on a plate, the sea in front of your eyes” fully reflects its reality. At the beginning of the meal, a warm welcome from the kitchen with homemade bread and excellent olive oil from the Olympia Hotel’s own olive grove. As a starter, we recommend the rich fish platter that includes fresh fish salad, octopus on salad, marinated anchovies, white fish carpaccio and tuna tartare. Everything was extremely fresh and full of the scent of the sea. The menu is diverse and relies on classic Dalmatian dishes such as Skradin risotto, mussels on buzara, gregada and brodetto. Although the restaurant particularly emphasizes the quality of wild fish and shellfish from the Adriatic, we opted for orzo with lamb, a rarity in such restaurants, which delighted with the juiciness of the meat and perfectly cooked orzo. We also tried the spring seasonal menu dedicated to wild asparagus, with excellent fuži (kind of pasta) with asparagus and prawns and, to finish, a delicious small strawberry tart. The cuisine of Sky restaurant is based on fresh, local ingredients and they cherish the traditional Dalmatian recipes in a modern interpretation. The wine list includes labels from all Croatian regions, from local winemakers to Pelješac, the Dalmatian islands, Istria and the continent. The fast and friendly personnel further contribute to this pleasant gastronomic experience.
